Blank is a lean word processor designed for focus, set with the most essential features and nothing else.
Blank isn’t code-signed yet, so the first time you open it your system may warn that it’s from an unknown developer. It’s safe, here’s how to open it:
macOS: right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again.
Windows: if you see “Windows protected your PC,” click More info, then Run anyway.
Linux: extract the archive, then run ./blank (add --no-sandbox if it complains).
Pages: US Letter, numbered, with real page breaks.
Fonts: Times New Roman and eight more, sizes 8 to 72.
Styling: bold, italic, underline.
Alignment: left, center, right, justified.
Lists: bulleted and numbered, with indent in and out.
Line spacing: 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0.
Margins: narrow, normal or wide.
Zoom: zoom the page in and out.
Paste: arrives as plain text and takes the page’s formatting.
Right-click: undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, spelling suggestions.
Color schemes: four pale palettes, each with a light and dark variant.

Find: whole-word search, jump to each match by page.
Replace: hold a result to replace that one match.
Spell check: scans the document, lists misspellings by page, fix or ignore.
Go to page: jump straight to any page number.
Documents: keep many at once in the app, auto-saved, rename, reorder, search, delete.
Save as: .docx, PDF, EPUB, .rtf, .txt, .html, .json.
Open: .docx, .rtf, .txt, .html, .json.
Display: light and dark, plus a warm mode for the eyes.
Toolbar: hidden until you reach for it near the top.
Auto-save: your work is kept as you type.
